Make startup reproducible

Commit a dependency lockfile and define separate build and start commands. Avoid relying on files present only on a development machine.

Configure without committing secrets

Use environment variables for API credentials and database connection strings. The frontend preview does not persist or transmit secret environment values.

Read deployment events

Review build output, startup logs, and readiness checks independently. An accepted deployment request is not evidence of a healthy application.
