WordPress needs PHP, a supported database, persistent uploads, and a recovery plan. Database provisioning and automatic updates must be explicitly supported before a plan can be described as managed WordPress hosting.

Runtime options in the instance wizard are illustrative. Versions, deployment methods, database availability, and production support must be confirmed by the connected provisioning service before launch.
